Starting point
A regional fiber provider had just made 1,317 addresses serviceable. When Knoqly's reps started, 32 of those homes were already subscribed, a market penetration of 2.43%.
The area had just become serviceable, the window when the most people are curious about the new network and the construction is still fresh in homeowners' minds.
What Knoqly did
Knoqly sent a small team of experienced fiber reps, a fit for fresh turf, and trained them on the provider's offer, service area and conduct standard before the first door.
Reps opened each conversation with the fiber work that had just finished on the street, then recommended the plan that fit how each household uses the internet, even when that meant no sale.
Results
Fourteen days later, 260 of the 1,317 homes subscribed: 19.74% penetration, up from 2.43%.
That is 228 new subscribers in two weeks.
What it means for your build
Timing and turf decide most of what a pass produces. The first weeks after homes become serviceable are when door-to-door does its best work, so the program should be planned before the area lights.
